ANGELS ENVY FINISHED RYE 750ML

This Kentucky rye is aged 6 years in American oak casks and then finished for up to 18 months in casks previously used to finished Caribbean rum. The mingling of raw spicy and earthy rye with the mellow sweetness of rum finishing creates an incomparably smooth and drinkable whiskey even at 100 proof. It scored 94 points in 2013 from Wine Enthusiast. Finished in Caribbean rum casks that result in a reddish amber pour with aromas of sweet butterscotch and toasted notes of vanilla that mingle well with hints of spice dark fruits and sherry that lead into buttery rum flavors with some raisin and cherry in the background.
