Balcones Lineage 750ml is a Texas single malt whisky made from a blend of Scottish Golden Promise and Texas-grown malted barley. It's aged in a combination of virgin and used oak barrels, resulting in a balanced and approachable profile. The whisky is bottled at 47% ABV. On the nose, it offers aromas of sourdough starter, cream soda, mulled cider, bruised bananas, and peaches. The palate presents caramelized sweetness, soft oak, manuka honey, chestnuts, and a hint of red wine reduction. The finish is warm and engaging, with notes of pineapple upside-down cake and creamy Vietnamese tea.
