Glenfiddich 12 Year Old in the 1.75 L format is the same Speyside single malt whisky aged 12 years as its smaller bottles, matured in a mix of American bourbon and Spanish sherry oak casks, and finished in marrying-tuns to harmonize its flavors. On the nose it reveals fresh pear and apple fruit notes, vanilla sweetness, honey, and a touch of oak. The palate is smooth and creamy: butterscotch, malt, light oak tones, with subtle fruit and a clean sweetness. The finish is long, mellow and balanced, leaving lingering vanilla and oak.
