MACALLAN DOUBLE CASK 15 YEARS OLD 750ML

Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old 750 ml is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky that’s been matured for fifteen years in a carefully managed blend of American and European oak casks, each seasoned with Oloroso sherry, and bottled at 43% ABV. It has a polished mahogany color visible in the glass. On the nose it offers layered aromas of fruit compote, vanilla bean, toffee, Asian pear, pie crust, Manuka honey, milk chocolate, and even a faint hint of gunpowder—the touching edge of sherry influence. The palate presents rich dried fruit (figs, raisins, plum), nutty spice, orange peel, candied ginger and a light tang of nutmeg, with touches of Irish breakfast tea, fragrant oak, and a sour‑sop character reminiscent of dried pineapple or overripe banana. The finish is moderate in length, creamy yet warming, with lingering ginger, tropical fruit accents, caramel, and a touch of vanilla or dark chocolate spice.
