Mandarine Napoléon is a Belgian orange liqueur, traditionally crafted by macerating mandarin zest and botanicals before blending with aged cognac. Dating back to 1892 and rooted in tales of Napoleon Bonaparte himself enjoying mandarins macerated in cognac, it’s a bright amber‑orange cordial bottled at 38 % ABV (76 proof). The palate is medium‑full, rich, and glycerous, delivering bright mandarin with accents of nutmeg, cinnamon, marmalade, licorice, caramel, vanilla, and polished oak. The finish is peppery and warmly spiced, combining tart mandarin zest with a long, orange‑cognac warmth.
