This Spanish red wine from the Ribera del Duero region is crafted entirely from Tempranillo and displays a deep cherry color with garnet hues; the bouquet is expressive and complex with aromas of jam, cocoa, tobacco, mineral notes, toffee, and a touch of smoke, while the palate is fleshy, powerful, and creamy with layers of spice and a lingering, elegant finish, all refined through 24 months of aging in mostly new French and American oak barrels followed by 36 months of bottle maturation.
