WILD TURKEY 81 PROOF 750ml

Introduced in 2011 Wild Turkey 81 Proof was created by Associate Master Distiller Eddie Russell. For a spicy kick Eddie uses the Wild Turkey famous high-rye mash bill. He then ages the whiskey for 6-8 years longer than any other whiskey in this "weight class" in hand-selected American oak barrels with the famous #4 "alligator char" to get the most flavor from each barrel.Eddie designed 81 to be a mellower counterpart to the 101 - and while it stands tall on its own it really shines in a mixed drink like a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned. We like to call it the perfect mixin whiskey.
